Read the Bible together. No training required.

A growing library of Discovery Bible Studies: a simple, repeatable way to read Scripture with someone else, one passage at a time. Look back, look up, look forward, that's the whole method.

what this actually is

Not a curriculum you need training to lead.

Discovery Bible Study (DBS) is a simple rhythm, the same three steps every time, that works whether you're leading a small group or sitting down with one other person over coffee. This library is a growing set of studies built on that method: real passages, real questions, and space to actually talk about what you find. Free to use, adapt, and pass on to anyone.

how it works

Look back, look up, look forward.

Every study, every session, follows the exact same shape. Learn it once with any study, and you already know how to lead every other one, or teach someone else to.

01

Look back

A few minutes to reconnect: what's happened since last time, what you're thankful for, how you can pray for each other.

02

Look up

Read a passage together, retell it in your own words, then work through the same four questions, every single time.

03

Look forward

Turn what you found into something real: a behaviour to change, a promise to trust, an example to follow. Then pray for each other.

Once you've done it, you're ready to lead it.

There's no separate training course to take first. You learn Discovery Bible Study by actually going through one, and by the end you're already equipped to take someone else through the exact same study, whether they're brand new to faith or have followed Jesus for decades.

No expertise needed

The same four questions, every time. You don't teach, you just ask, and let the passage and the group do the rest.

Simple enough for anyone

Plain language throughout, nothing assumes you already know the Bible. Someone brand new to faith can lead this as easily as someone who's followed Jesus for years.

Made to multiply

Every study ends the same way: reset your progress, and go take someone else through it. That's not an afterthought, it's the actual design.

a library, not just one course

Pick the one that fits where you actually are.

Whether you're brand new to faith or going deeper after years of following Jesus, there's a study built for where you're starting from, not just one path for everyone.
